Dietary Services
Wholesome, nourishing and well-balanced meals are an important part of your treatment and recovery. Auburn Regional Medical Center provides nutritious meals. If you are on a special diet prescribed by your doctor, you will receive menus tailored to your specific needs.

Patients are served breakfast between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m., lunch between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., and dinner between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Occasionally, your meal may be delayed when you are scheduled for a special test or treatment. Whenever possible, you will be served after your examination or test.

Your breakfast tray will include a menu from which you can order your meals for the next day. Please mark your menu so it will be ready for pickup. If you have difficulty making menu selections, a member of the Dietary Department will be happy to help you. Call (253) 833-7711 ext.1039 for assistance.

An alternate menu is available for your reference if the menu does not meet your needs. Please call the Dietary Department at (253) 833-7711 ext.1039 to receive a copy of the alternate menu.

If a family member or friend wants to eat in your room with you, the person may go to the cafeteria, buy a meal there, and take it back to your room. If the person does not want to go to the cafeteria, a guest meal tray can be ordered. Please let your nurse know if a guest tray is desired. Charges for this service will be added to your hospital bill.
